Hands #8-11: A Split and a Penalty for Vazquez

Level 36 : 600,000/1,200,000, 200,000 ante

Hand #8: Luis Vazquez raised to 2.7 million and scooped the blinds and antes.

Hand #9: Kevin Rines raised to 3.6 million and Alexander Lakhov moved all in out of the big blind. Rines called and the cards were tabled.

Kevin Rines: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Alexander Lakhov: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The board came {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and they chopped it up with a full house.

Hand #10: Lakhov limped the small blind and Vazquez checked from the big blind. On the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Lakhov check-called a bet of 1.5 million and did so again for the same amount on the {2-Diamonds} turn. The {7-Clubs} river was checked and Vazquez showed {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

"I have four pair," Vazquez claimed before correcting it to "three pair."

Hand #11: Svetlozar Nestorov moved all in for 13 million and Vazquez in the small blind asked for a count. He then folded and mucked the {A-Diamonds} face up. Since Renato Kaneoya was still to act from the big blind and subsequently folded, Vazquez received a three hand penalty for exposing his cards out of turn.
