Day 2 of Event #62: $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed is finally upon us after four starting flights over the last two days of action came to a head.

A huge 8,598 entrants took part all with the ambition of emulating last years' victor Alexandru Papazian and taking home the $888,888 guaranteed first-place prize.

When play gets underway at 2 pm on Monday, July, 2, Raymond Trujillo will hold the advantage of the chip lead over the returning 458 players after he bagged 685,000 at the end of Day 1b. WSOP bracelet winner Matthew Schreiber is hot on his tail with 662,000 as Troy Southerland completes the top-three with a 519,000.

Bracelet winner and 888poker ambassador Chris Moorman has a stack worth 511,000, with Vitaliy Neyman (500,00) and final flight chip leader Matt Salsberg (483,000) close behind.

Well-known faces Martin Jacobson (149,000), Mohsin Charania (307,000 ), Joey Weissman (300,000), Jeff Madsen (167,000) and Mike Leah (155,000) will also be in the Day 2 field.

All the returning players are in the money and guaranteed a minimum cash of $2,702.

The action will kick off in Level 19 with blinds at 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante. Ten 60-minute levels will be played out with 15-minute breaks coming after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break coming after level 6.
