Jon Hoellein Eliminated in 6th Place ($106,822)

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante
Jon Hoellein
Jon Hoellein

Hand #102: Chris Staats raised on the button and Francois Tosques three-bet to 2.25 million in the small blind. Jon Hoellein called for his remaining 640,000 in the big blind and Staats got out of the way.

Tosques: {Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Hoellein: {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The {Q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs} brought a club sweat for Hoellein, but the {6-Hearts} turn and the {6-Diamonds} river didn't do it. Hoellein is the sixth-place finisher, taking home the first six-figure payday of the tournament: $106,822.

Hand #99: Action folded to Jon Hoellein in the cutoff and he moved it in for 2.32 million. Sung Joo Hyun called for his remaining stack, which was just a bit less than Hoellein's.

Hoellein: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Hyun: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Hyun doubled up, leaving Hoellein right around one big blind.

Hand #100: Hoellein called all in for 295,000 in middle position and Chris Staats in the big blind had him at risk.

Hoellein: {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Staats: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Hoellein turned a straight to stay alive.

Hand #101: Hyun raised to 600,000 on the button and Tosques called in the big blind. The flop was {7-Spades}{A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and Tosques checked to Hyun, who bet 550,000. Tosques folded and Hyun won the pot.

Hands #86-90: Douglas Trips the River to Stay Alive

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante
Richard Douglas
Richard Douglas

Hand #86: Sung Joo Hyun raised to 1.08 million under the gun and took the pot when his opponents folded.

Hand #87: Richard Douglas moved all in for 2,265,000 on the button and Guoliang Wei re-shoved from the small blind. Hyun folded his big blind and Douglas was at risk.

Douglas: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Wei: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} flop gave both players a pair, Wei's best. The {3-Clubs} turn changed nothing but the {7-Diamonds} on the river gave Douglas trip sevens to double through and stay alive.

Hand #88: Chris Staats got a walk.

Hand #89: Francois Tosques got a walk.

Hand #90: Hyun raised to 600,000 from the cutoff and Tosques moved all in. The big blind folded and so did Hyun, and Tosques took another pot, prompting French chants on the rail.

Renato Kaneoya
Renato Kaneoya

Hand #85: Renato Kaneoya shoved all in for 2,880,000 from the cutoff. Christopher Staats called on the button and the blinds folded.

Renato Kaneoya: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Christopher Staats {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Both players paired up on the {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop, not helping Kaneoya in any way. The {8-Clubs} did help him as a flush draw opened up but the {a-Hearts} sealed it for Staats. The Brazilian's deep run in the Little One ended in seventh place, worth $81,251.

Hyun: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Kaneoya: {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Hand #75: Richard Douglas raised to 625,000 from the cutoff, and Guoliang Wei three-bet shoved on the button, covering all other players. The blinds got out of the way and Douglas folded as well.

Hand #76: Wei raised to 625,000 from the cutoff and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #77: Hoellein raised to 700,000 from under the gun and Francois Tosques defended his big blind. The {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} flop went check-check. On the {7-Clubs} turn, Tosques checked and Hoellein checked once more.

Tosques bet 1,300,000 on the {10-Hearts} river and Hoellein folded.

Hand #78: Wei raised to 700,000 in early position. Sung Joo Hyun called all in for 480,000 and the others folded.

Sung Joo Hyun: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

Hands #72-74: Staats on the Rise, Wei Takes the Lead

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante
Guoliang Wei
Guoliang Wei

Hand #72: Sung Joo Hyun raised to 775,000 in early position and Francois Tosques called on the button. The flop brought {6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and Hyun checked. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, Hyun bet 900,000. Tosques called and they went to the river.

The {A-Spades} came on the river and Hyun checked. After more than a minute, Tosques pushed out 2 million and Hyun thought about it, removed his glasses, closed his eyes, and mucked.

Tosques flashed {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} for quads and told his rail "quads" in French. They cheered and Tosques extended his chip lead.

Hand #73: Jon Hoellein raised to 500,000 on the button and Wei three-bet to 1.8 million. Hoellein folded and Wei won the pot.

Hand #74: Hoellein raised to 600,000 in the cutoff and Wei three-bet again, this time 4.87 million from the small blind. The big blind and Hoellein folded and Wei took the pot, giving him the chip lead.
