Pavlyuchuk Gets a Call from Jachtmann

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

With just under 100,000 in the pot, big blind Jan-Peter Jachtmann checked the {2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} turn and Oleg Pavlyuchuk shoved his last 40,000 from the button.

"I think I have to pay," Jachtmann said, thinking about his decision.

"Let's do it!" Pavlyuchuk smiled. Jachtmann did a gesture with his hand, indicating that he wasn't so sure if he'd call but then took the chips and threw them forward.

Pavlyuchuk: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Jachtmann: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Jachtmann learnt that he couldn't win the pot and the only card to provide a chop would be a nine. But the {4-Clubs} landed instead and Pavyluchuk doubled.
