Chow and Tran Play a 15-minute Hand
According to the table, the action folded around to Michael Chow who raised it up from the cutoff. Hung Tran was in the big blind and tossed in a three-bet. Chow made a four-bet and Tran countered with another small five-bet. Chow wanted to have the last say and six-bet shoved all in on just the third hand at the table.
Tran was in the tank now and he counted out his chips, visibly showing that he had Chow covered by around 25,000 chips or so. At this point, the table was already restless as they were already ten minutes deep into the hand. Tran stood up from his chair and continued to think some more.
The rest of the table also stood up from their chairs as they discussed what the possible hands could be and what the correct play was. After another few minutes, the clock was finally called and Tran was given 30 seconds to act on his hand. The clock ran out and Tran's hand was declared dead, sending an excruciating pot to Chow in the early going.
