Rughani Survives on the River

Vivek Rughani raised to 450,000 from middle position, which left him with just 10,000 behind. Benjamin Pollak called in the next seat, and Frederik Jensen called in the big blind. Jensen and Rughani checked on the 
flop and Pollak bet 450,000. Jensen folded, and Rughani put his last couple of chips into the middle.

Pollak was ahead with top pair, but Rughani had outs to the straight, which he needed if he was to survive. The 
turn kept Pollak in the lead but when the 
peeled off on the river Rughani hit his straight for a miracle revival.
