Last year’s edition of this tournament was won in the 30th one-hour level of play, when Ognyan Dimov emerged victorious to become the third WSOP bracelet winner from his home country, Bulgaria. He bested a field of 1,663 and took home $378,743 for his efforts. The tournament was originally scheduled to be three days, but Day 3 action was cut short during the sixth level of play after reaching the official final table of six players to resume the following day on the ESPN Feature Table.
Day 1 starts at 4 p.m. local time with a brand new structure for 2019. Players will begin with 25,000 starting stacks and will play until the conclusion of 14 40-minute levels. There will be 15-minute breaks every three levels and late registration will be open for nine levels, around 10:30 p.m. local time.
The PokerNews team will be on the floor covering the tournament, so stay tuned and be sure catch all the action.
