A field of 139 players will return for Event #33: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw and play ten more levels on Day 2. The remaining players have been whittled down from a starting field of 467 and of the remaining 139 just 71 will be paid and only one will walk away with the WSOP gold bracelet and $144,027 in prize money.

Defending champion Hanh Tran staged a stunning comeback against Oscar Johansson in 2018 to win his first WSOP bracelet but comes into the day with 29,100 on his quest for back-to-back titles.

Leading the way from yesterday is Benny Glaser who is looking to win this event for the second time after he won $136,215 and his first bracelet back in 2015. He is bringing a stack of 79,500 through to Day 2, just ahead of Jared Bleznick (75,700), Jeffrey Shea (73,900), Penh Lo (72,600), Robert Campbell (72,000) and Frederic Moss (70,600).

These six players are the only ones above 70,000 in chips, but behind them comes a whole host of big names including Brian Hastings, Ian Johns, Loren Klein, Phil Hellmuth, Frankie O'Dell, Daniel Negreanu, and Max Kruse.

Stay tuned to PokerNews for continued live coverage of the 50th annual WSOP here at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino!
