Play Concludes
With the final five players returning from break, WSOP Tournament Supervisor Dennis Jones came over to talk to the players.
Jones' decision was that play would conclude for the day, and that players would return on Day 4.
Jones said that he talked to Vice President of WSOP Jack Effel, and he relayed the message that because players were told that they would bag at six players at the start of the day, and that both Adam Friedman and Michael McKenna have each objected to continuing to play, that play would end for Day 3.
Deeb and Glantz protested, and Deeb stated that he would have done everything different if he knew this was the outcome. He said he would have played the online event, and he planned on playing the Stud Championship on Monday.
Regardless, Jones' ruling stood, and the final five players have bagged their chips and play has officially concluded for Day 3. Play will resume on Monday, June 17, at 12 p.m. (PDT).
