Zamani Doubles Through Farrell

Level 35 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Ben Farrell raised to 35,000 and Johan Guilbert called in the hijack. Martin Zamani jammed for 365,000 in the single big blind and Farrell was to act.

"I faded the snap call, that's good." Farrell then called and Guilbert folded.

Martin Zamani: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Ben Farrell: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

"That's exactly what I wanted, two overs. Write that in the blog, Martin Zamani doubles," Zamani joked.

His prediction would come true on a board of {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts} as he hit a full house.

Justin Bonomo Eliminated in 10th Place ($12,937)

Level 35 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Ben Farrell raised to 35,000 from mid-position and action folded to Justin Bonomo in the big blind who decided to shove for around 240,000. Farrell quickly called.

Justin Bonomo: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Ben Farrell: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for Farrell to flop top pair immediately.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} which didn't change the situation and meant that only another nine on the river could save Bonomo's tournament life.

The river completed the board with the {10-Clubs} which meant Farrell improved to a Broadway to seal Bonomo's fate and send him to the payout desk to collect $12,937 for finishing in tenth place.

Level 35 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Alexandru Papazian raised to 32,000 from mid-position and Martin Zamani was sitting in the big blind and called.

"Let me have the shades for this hand, give me a little chance," Zamani said to Papazian who responded with just a smile.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, Zamani checked and Papazian continued with a bet of 24,000.

Zamani looked at his stack, stacked all his chips up: "Well, Luckychewy, it has been a pleasure. Mr Papazian, good luck!" And then decided to go all in.

Papazian quickly folded and Zamani showed the {5-Diamonds}.

More for Lichtenberger

Level 35 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

David Lambard opened from early position to 37,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger asked to see the stack of Lambard before making the call from two seats over. They went heads-up to the {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and Lambard continued for 40,000, Lichtenberger made the call. On the {3-Spades} turn, Lambard checked and folded to a bet of 62,000 by Lichtenberger.

Adrien Delmas then got involved in the action and raised to 32,000 in the cutoff. Jan Lakota in the big blind three-bet to 120,000 and Delmas folded.

The Frenchman raised the very next hand to 32,000 in the hijack and won the blinds.

Lambard's limp from the small blind was met with a raise to 47,000 by Johan Guilbert and that shut down all further action. At the start of the third level, Guilbert and Lichtenberger are the only two players above a million.

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Johan Guilbert raised to 25,000 from the hijack, he was called by Andrew Lichtenberger in the cutoff and Justin Bonomo and Weiyi Zhang in the blinds.

The flop came {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, both Bonomo and Zhang quickly checked. Guilbert bet 30,000 which only Bonomo ended up calling.

They both checked on the {10-Hearts} turn to see the {k-Clubs} complete the board on the river. Bonomo checked for the last time and Guilbert now barreled a bet of 105,000 over the line. Bonomo contemplated his options for a while and made the call in the end but mucked when Guilbert flipped over {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for two pair, jacks and deuces.

Trips for Lakota

Level 34 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jan Lakota had lost a pot and then took on Martin Zamani when facing a raise to 24,000. The Slovenian called out of the big blind and checked the {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, Zamani checked behind. On the {j-Diamonds} turn, both players checked once more and Lakota then bet the {q-Spades} river for 60,000.

Without any table chat this time, Zamani mulled over his decision and called. Lakota tabled {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and that won the pot.
