Welcome to PokerNews Day 2 coverage of Event #41: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship. Today’s action restarts at 2 p.m., with 36 players coming back from the original field of 77.

The field is scheduled to play through seven 90-minute levels today, with 10-minute breaks after each level, (some extended breaks) and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 14. Play begins today at Level 11, with the limits at 4,000-8,000.

The remaining 36-player field is loaded with WSOP bracelet winners, including chip leader Scott Seiver (329,500). Right behind Seiver in the chip counts are Scott Clements (290,000), Greg Mueller (263,000), Mike “The Grinder” Mizrachi (234,400), Max Pescatori (195,500), Frank Kassela (159,000), Eli Elezra (156,000) and Daniel Negreanu (154,000).

The aforementioned eight players are all multiple-time WSOP bracelet winners, with a combined 30 bracelets among them. Clements, Mizrachi, Mueller and Elezra have all already won a bracelet at the 2019 WSOP and are looking to add No. 2 for this series.

Others in contention are players like Michael McKenna (245,500), Andrew Kelsall (202,000) and Paul Mangine (190,000), all of whom are seeking their first career WSOP bracelet win.

The remaining six tables are full of the best stud players in the world, and the path to the final table at the $10,000 Seven-Card Stud Championship will not be easy. Play will break after seven levels today, and the event is scheduled to play down to six players on Day 3 on Wednesday, followed by a final table restart Thursday.
