Donabedian Takes the Side, Winter Takes the Main

Sean Winter, Andrew Donabedian, and a third player were just involved in a three-way pot where Winter was at risk of being eliminated. The complete {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{a-Hearts} board was on the table and Donabedian had bet 12,000. The third player in the pot tanked for a bit before open folding {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Donabedian showed {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and that won him the side pot because Winter had {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} to win the main pot with a Broadway straight.

Donabedian won Event #25: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack earlier in the summer to win his first bracelet and is playing yet another pot-limit Omaha tournament to see if he can add a second bracelet to his collection.
