Dibernardi Doubles Through Tureniec

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The flop fell {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and Michael Tureniec checked from the small blind. David Dibernardi bet 43,000 from under the gun into the 100,000 chip pot, and Simon Burns raised to 110,000 from the cutoff.

Tureniec started to think and then moved all in for 700,000.

With the decision back on Dibernardi, he went into the tank sat with 370,000 but made the call a minute later.

Burns had a 700,000 stack behind him and looked unsure on what to do, but after close to 90 seconds passed, he folded.

Tureniec tabled {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for middle set, but saw Dibernardi table {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for top set.

The board ran out {9-Hearts} and {3-Spades}, and Dibernardi secured the full double.

Burns sighed and admitted he held the heart flush draw to the onlooking Patrick Leonard and missed out on a chance to score a double knockout.
