Welcome to Day 2 of Event #8: $10,000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #8: $10,000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em at the 2019 World Series of Poker where play is set to get underway at 3pm local time.
This brand new bracelet event drew 61 entries on Day 1. Of that number, 18 players will return. However, they may be joined by some new faces with registration being open until the start of Level 11 today.
Gabe Patgorski will start the day as the chip leader with an impressive stack of 388,800. He is followed by Alex Epstein (323,000). Anson Tsang sits in third with 307,400.
Many stars took a shot at this event and will return today to continue to battle it out including Galen Hall (266,000), Sean Winter (207,800), Dario Sammartino (115,200), James Chen (140,400), and Justin Bonomo (107,300).
Eight 60-minute levels will be played out today with 15-minute breaks coming every two hours and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 4, at approximately 7:15 p.m.
