After the technical issues one week ago, the 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker Online Bracelet Events will see Event #33: $1,111 Every 1 for Covid Relief [Caesars Cares] recommence exactly where it had to be postponed. The starting time has been pushed back by one hour to 3 p.m. EST (7 p.m. GMT), which is in fact in line with the four 15-minute levels that have been completed thus far.
Upon completion of level four there were 1,418 players out of 1,598 entries remaining but the current prize pool of $1,775,378 is certain to grow further. The late registration will be open for another two hours and reaches into the second scheduled break of the day, and all players can re-enter a maximum of two times in said period.
All those that join the action or run out of chips and buy in again will receive a fresh stack of 25,000 and the tournament continues with nearly the entire level five at blinds of 300/600 and a running ante of 70 to play for.
"jack chan" from the Philippines has all but quadrupled already and leads the pack with 98,014 followed by "EmptyTheClip" (90,409), "VaPaCooler" (88,494) and Ghassan "Simbuzzi" Yafaoui (83,735). The only known WSOP bracelet winner in the current top 20 is China's Guoliang "SPARK1207" Wei (66,998) whereas other notables well above the average include Shawn "buck21" Buchanan (75,400), Farid Jattin (71,562), Simon Higgins (61,323) and Chris Hunichen (56,889).
A plethora of big names on the international poker circuit are expected to add this event to their busy Sunday schedule and the WSOP bracelet winners Naoya Kihara, Yuri Dzivielevski and Adrian Mateos will return to more than double the starting stack based on their performance from one week ago. They will certainly be joined by the GGPoker ambassadors Fedor Holz (42,140), Felipe Ramos (29,122) and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (20,368).
As previously foreseen, the event is scheduled to play down to the nine-handed final table which will then take place the following Saturday, August 1st, 2020, as the action is slated to be streamed on a delay with hole cards displayed until a champion has been crowned.
The PokerNews live reporting team will provide all the action from the tables with another five further WSOP bracelet events running throughout the day.
