GGMasters Event Adds Bracelet to Prize Pool

WSOP GGpoker
WSOP GGpoker

Every Sunday 1 p.m. Eastern, GGPoker runs the GGMasters series. With $150 buy in and a strict freezeout format, players in the usual GGMasters series events accrue points for their finishes and compete for leaderboard prizes which include free tickets for next year's GGMasters series events, as well as a GGPoker ambassador package (worth $50,000) up top for the overall leaderboard winner. Today, however, rather than leaderboard points, players will be competing for a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.

In addition to the bracelet, the guarantee for Event #57: $150 GGMasters WSOP Edition [Freezeout] has also been doubled from $500k to $1M, and with just over an hour till the first cards are dealt, there are already more than 2,900 players in the mix. Late registration is open for three hours after action begins, so there's plenty of time to get into the game. Players get 10,000 chips for their buy in, and will play 12 minute levels to start. After the 15th level, action switches to 15 minute levels for the remainder of the multi-table action.

With just over an hour left before the start, there are already several big names in action, including several of the GGPoker ambassador team like Daniel Negreanu, Felipe Ramos, Thai Ha, and Pete Chen, as well GGPoker Streamers like Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker, Daniel "Dan.Almeida" De Almeida, Darius "Komodo Dragon Jesus" Wajda, Torsten "jektiss" Brinkmann and Michael "Minthon" Iakovlev among others.

PokerNews will be on the virtual floor from the first hand to the last bringing you chip counts and key action through the day until a winner is crowned. Stay tuned to find out who will be the next bracelet winner on GGPoker.
