Pantaleo Hooks Alban for Double

With blinds at 2,000/4,000 (500 ante), action folded to Joseph "ultradonk" Alban who raised to 8,000 from the small blind and Giuseppe "Pantalette" Pantaleo three-bet to 22,250 from the big blind.

Alban moved all in for 103,952 and Pantaleo called for less holding 80,837.

Joseph "ultradonk" Alban: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Giuseppe "Pantalette" Pantaleo: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Pantaleo was ahead and improved on the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop but he still had a sweat as it also gave Alban an open-ended straight flush draw.

The {a-Diamonds} turn didn't change a thing nor the {2-Diamonds} river as Alban's brick-out gave Pantaleo the doiuble-up.

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

With blinds at 1,400/2,800 (350) ante, "dp513" opened under the gun for 5,600 and Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu defended his big blind to see a {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop.

Negreanu check-called "dp513's" 5,075 continuation bet and then moved all in for 27,975 after the {5-Clubs} appeared on the turn. "dp513" called and both players tabled their hands.

"dp513": {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu: {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Negreanu was behind but had outs, unfortunately the {10-Hearts} river wasn't one as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Shin Rebuys After Running into Aces

With blinds at 2,000/4,000 (250) ante, "draiman517" opened under the gun with a 4,000 min-raise and Mike "Mkspresident" Shin three-bet all in for 21,981 on the button.

The blinds folded and action was back on "draiman517" who called.

"draiman517"; {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Mike "Mkspresident" Shin: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Shin jammed into a rough spot and things got worse after the case ace appeared on the {5-Spades}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop.

The board finished with the {2-Diamonds} on the turn followed by the {7-Diamonds} on the river and Shin rebought a new 30k stack.

Hellmuth gets Lucky to Eliminate Modha

With blinds at 800/1,600 (200 ante), Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth opened for 4,000 from middle position, Puneeth "kimisraunchy" Modha three-bet all in for 26,738 and action folded back around to Hellmuth who called.

Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Conrad "iamnotblack" Simpson Grinding Online from the Hot Tub

Conrad "iamnotblack" Simpson
Conrad "iamnotblack" Simpson

Last December, Conrad "iamnotblack" Simpson topped a field of 96 runners to win the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah’s Las Vegas Event #13: $400 Mixed PLO/NLH 8-Handed for a career-high $8,978 and his first gold ring.

It was a breakout win for the grinder, who the day before watched his friend and roommate, Corey Paggeot, win a ring of his own.

"I love PLO. I play hold'em for the most part, but I like PLO. It's fun." said Simpson, who does video work for Matt Berkey’s Solve for Why.

Simpson, who was kind enough to send us these photos of him grinding from the hot tub, is off to a good start in this tournament currently sitting second in chips. He is looking for his second cash of the series after having finished in 106th place in Event #1: $500 NLH Kickoff, good for $1,080.
