Three-Way Pot to Miquel Munoz

Level 38 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

After a three-way flop of {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} was checked through, Ramon Miquel Munoz then let the {9-Spades} turn for 625,000 out of the big blind. Brunno Botteon tank-folded from under the gun and Damian Salas also let go from one seat over.

Marco Streda then pushed from the cutoff to pick up urgently needed blinds and the big blind ante to remain on 11 blinds.

Botteon and Miquel Munoz discussed the hand as the Brazilian exclaimed he had folded a big hand. "Was it ace ten or ace queen?" Miquel Munoz asked back and both then joked "guess we will see on TV."

Out of the small blind, Damian Salas raised to 950,000 and Manuel Ruivo defended the big blind. The flop of {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} was checked through and the {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Salas bet 875,000 and that won the pot.

Brunno Botteon then raised to 600,000 in the cutoff and Salas three-bet to 1.9 million on the button. Botteon four-bet all-in and Salas quickly gave up the pot.

Miquel Munoz With Another Jam

Level 38 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

"Are you friends with Naza?" Damian Salas inquired with Manuel Ruivo, which the latter confirmed. They referred to Portuguese poker pro and WSOP bracelet winner Joao Vieira, and Salas then added "Portugal has a lot of great players". Ruivo returned the favor for Argentina and Brunno Botteon chimed in with a "Brazil has a lot of great players as well."

"Oh sorry, this is a private conversation," Ruivo joked but let Botteon off the hook.

While the table chat picked up, the action itself remained slow with zero post flop interactions. Botton added a few blinds and Ramon Miquel Munoz then preserved his short stack by successfully pushing from the button.

Ruivo Jams Into Salas

The action folded to Damian Salas in the small blind and he made it 825,000 to go in the last hand of the level. Manuel Ruivo pushed after a few moments and Salas let go without any major consideration.

"We play a lot on the internet," Salas admitted in table chat and Ruivo smirked. Both then shared more laughter and the blinds moved up.

As has been the case previously, the lion's share of the hands ended preflop or on the flop throughout the level and four of the five contenders have now dropped below 20 big blinds.

Ramon Miquel Munoz raised to 550,000 and Damian Salas three-bet to 1.75 million on the button. Miquel Munoz gave it some consideration but got out of the way eventually.

Salas' stack was about to soar above 20 million and he also opened to 525,000 in the cutoff the next hand. Marco Streda then pushed out of the small blind and Salas asked for a count. The jam was for 2,975,000 and that proved to be too much for Salas.

Miquel Munoz Beats Streda in Showdown

Level 37 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Ramon Miquel Munoz

Ramon Miquel Munoz raised to 525,000 from under the gun and was called by Marco Streda in the big blind. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Streda opted to check-call for 400,000 and both players then checked the {8-Hearts} on the turn.

Streda led the {j-Spades} river for 900,000 and Miquel Munoz gave him a stare down for a minute before making the call.

Streda revealed {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a pair of sevens and Miquel Munoz won the pot with {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the top pair.

"Good call," Streda said in table chat and further added "I thought about going all-in, maybe the better move than the 900."

Salas Wins Big Pot Against Botteon

Level 37 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Brunno Botteon
Brunno Botteon

Damian Salas made it 525,000 to go and Brunno Botteon defended the big blind to see a flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}, on which both players checked. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn and Botteon now bet 450,000, which Salas called.

Botteon then opted to check the {4-Diamonds} on the river and Salas made it 1.5 million to go. Botteon, who was the only one with the T-500,000 chip denominations, then raised to 5 million and that sent Salas into the tank.

Eventually, Salas made the call and Botteon rolled over {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of nines and busted gutshot. "Come on Damian," Salas pushed himself as he tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the top pair to take a big lead.
