Lakatos And Wang Double

Level 31 : 35,000/70,000, 8,500 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Ben Lakatos was the player at risk versus Ben Wilinofsky but had already locked up the double on a {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. His {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the nut full house could not be beaten by WIlinofky's {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, making the {j-Spades} turn and {3-Hearts} river a formality.

Fernando Habegger then put David Wang at risk in a preflop contest.

David Wang: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Fernando Habegger: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Wang doubled.

Ben Lakatos limped the button and Ben Wilinofsky filled up from the small blind, Fernando Habegger checked his option in the big blind. Wilinofsky bet all streets on the {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts} board for 60,000, 187,500 and 720,000. Habegger got out of the way on the flop but Lakatos stuck around and then jammed the river for 734,031.

Wilinofsky called with the {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a set of fives but Lakatos had that beat with the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for the nutted top set.

Tamasauskas Doubles Through Wilinofsky

Level 30 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Vincas Tamasauskas opened to 150,000 and called a pot-sized raise to 510,000 by Ben Wilinofsky in the small blind. With 1,125,000 in the middle to the {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, Wilinofsky potted and Tamasauskas called all-in for 1,124,658.

Vincas Tamasauskas: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Ben Wilinofsky: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

The Lithuanian was in the lead with two pair and a flush draw. He made superior two pair on the {q-Clubs} turn while Wilinofsky picked up a gutshot. The {8-Clubs} river changed nothing whatsoever and Tamauskas escaped from elimination.

Hernando Guzman Eliminated in 7th Place ($38,418)

Level 30 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante
Guzman eliminated by Wilinofsky
Guzman eliminated by Wilinofsky

Hernando Guzman started the action with a limp as the second player to act and Ben Lakatos also limped in. Ben Wilinofsky on the button squeezed to 300,000 and Guzman called, Lakatos folded.

While the flop showed {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Guzman was disconnected but got back in time to check his option. WIlinofsky went for the full pot for 802,500 and Guzman check-jammed for 2,174,587, the call of WIlinofsky followed after a few seconds of consideration.

Hernando Guzman: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Ben Wilinofsky: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Guzman had plenty of outs with his gutshot and live cards but the {2-Spades} turn and {k-Spades} river brought no help. Wilinofsky made kings over sevens and Guzman was eliminated in 7th place.

Guzman and Lakatos Chip Up

Level 30 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Ben Wilinofsky opened to 135,000 and Hernando Guzman came along out of the big blind. On the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Guzman opted to check-call for 87,500 and did so again for another 203,750 on the {7-Diamonds} turn. Wilinofsky checked behind the {2-Hearts} river with the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Guzman dragged in the pot with the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

Two hands later, Florian Fuchs potted out of the small blind and Ben Lakatos called. Fuchs bet the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop for just 103,125 to earn a call and the {7-Clubs} turn was checked. Fuchs also checked the {q-Clubs} river and let go when Lakatos bet half the pot.
