Sadirov Regains the Lead

Level 29 : 0/25,000, 25,000 ante

Another lengthy hand emerged halfway through the level when Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov limped in from the button. Joao Vieira raised to 150,000 and Sadirov tossed in calling chips.

On a flop of {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Sadirov went for the check-raise from 175,000 to 437,500 and Vieira came along for the ride. Sadirov bet the {k-Spades} turn for 300,000, which Vieira called. Both players then checked the {q-Diamonds} on the river and Sadirov earned the large three-handed pot with {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} versus {a-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Vieira Takes the Lead

Level 29 : 0/25,000, 25,000 ante

Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov raised to 175,000 on the button and Joao Vieira came along from under the gun. On the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, Sadirov bet 137,500 to earn a call and they both opted to check the {k-Diamonds} on the turn.

The {j-Hearts} river completed the board and Sadirov bet 480,568 into a pot of 700,000, sending Vieira into the think tank. The Portuguese pro used a solid portion of his available time bank and called after more than five minutes.

Sadirov tabled the {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for complete air and Vieira won the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

"Sorry for the tank guys," Vieira wrote in table chat as he jumped into the lead.

Sadirov and Vieira Chop It Up

Level 28 : 0/20,000, 20,000 ante

Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov raised to 120,000 and Joao Vieira three-bet to 400,000. Sadirov then piled it in and Vieira called for the 2,172,104 he had left behind.

Joao Vieira: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Radmir "KOPOBA" Sadirov: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop kept both back door flush draws alive but the {q-Diamonds} turn chopped it up, making the {k-Diamonds} river a formality.
