William "Potrippper" Klevitz Eliminated in 16th Place ($3,124)

Level 32 : 16,000/32,000, 4,000 ante

William "Potrippper" Klevitz moved all in from under the gun for 455,765, Shankar "Burgersssss" Pillai called.

It was the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} of Klevitz vs the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} of Pillai.

The board ran out {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the flop to pair Pillai and send Klevits away in 16th place.

Arkadiy "Crocofantos" Tsinis Eliminated in 17th Place ($3,124)

Level 32 : 16,000/32,000, 4,000 ante

Arkadiy "Crocofantos" Tsinis was all in preflop and in great shape holding the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} against the {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} of "femme_fatale".

But the flop made it not such great shape as it came the {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river the {8-Hearts} to end the night for Tsinis.

Luke "fulish1" Fu Eliminated in 18th Place ($3,124)

Level 32 : 16,000/32,000, 4,000 ante

Luke "fulish1" Fu raised all in for 30,856 from the hijack and "femme_fatale" called from the big blind.

"femme_fatale": {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Luke "fulish1" Fu: {k-Spades}{6-Spades}

Fu was ahead and the {q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop didn't change a thing. The {8-Hearts} turn was safe for Fu but the {3-Hearts} river paired "femme_fatale" and eliminated him from the tournament.

Don't Miss the New Feature "WSOP History: An Oral History of ChipTic"

Level 31 : 14,000/28,000, 3,500 ante
ChipTic
ChipTic

At the 2012 World Series of Poker, a shiny new product received its public unveiling. Players and fans the world over were introduced to a program with revolutionary potential. It could track the chip ebbs and flows of every player in a tournament while also serving as the back end operating system to run said tournament. It promised the ability to change the way poker tournaments were followed, with players and fans interacting at the stroke of a few keys.

That product was ChipTic. And it proved to be a colossal failure.

This is the two-part oral history of ChipTic, from those who experienced it first-hand and witnessed that failure — three former employees, two members of WSOP staff, and two poker media members who watched it implode.

Mckeehen Has Kicker Issues

Level 31 : 14,000/28,000, 3,500 ante
Joe McKeehen
Joe McKeehen

Scott "stpauli111" Hall raised under the gun and then called the 462,532 three-bet jam Joe "IhateChadE" Mckeehen made from the big blind.

Scott "stpauli111" Hall: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Joe "IhateChadE" Mckeehen: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Mckeehen was dominated by Hall and nothing changed after the {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop.

The {7-Spades} turn did give Mckeehen more outs with a gutshot straight draw but the {8-Hearts} river ended his tournament in 23rd place for $2,564.
