Dunst Rebuys After Running Into Cannuli's Aces

Level 9 : 300/600, 60 ante
Thomas Cannuli
Thomas Cannuli

Tony "Panoramic" Dunst raised from middle position and found two callers before Tom ".BEAST." Cannuli three-bet to 4,400 from the big blind.

Dunst four-bet to 11,200 and action quickly folded to Cannuli who five-bet jammed for 40,902. Dunst called off holding just 900 less and the two hands were revealed.

Tom ".BEAST." Cannuli: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Tony "Panoramic" Dunst: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Dunst was way behind Cannuli's aces and nothing changed after the {4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop.

The {q-Spades} turn made things interesting as it gave Dunst a broadway draw but the {2-Spades} river secured the pot for Cannuli and Dunst re-entered the tournament.

Halverson Flops the Nuts

Level 9 : 300/600, 60 ante

Raman "Acrogum" Afanasenka raised to 2,400 over one limper. Mitchell "franzia" Halverson three-bet to 8,400. It folded bacl to Afanasenka who four-bet all in for 23,595 and Halverson called.

It was a flip wit the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} of Afanasenka facing off vs the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} of Halverson.

Halverson flopped the nuts as it came {j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}, the turn was the {a-Diamonds} to keep Afansenka alive drawing to a king for a broadway on the board chop but the river was the {6-Spades} to bust him and force a re-buy.

Tom ".BEAST." Cannuli: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Ian "ApokerJoker2" Steinman Looking to Crush Another WSOP Online Bracelet Series

Level 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Ian Steinman
Ian Steinman

One WSOP Gold Bracelet. Three final tables. Fifteen cashes. That was the body of work of Ian "ApokerJoker2" Steinman in last year's WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series, one that would be the envy of nearly everyone who fired in last year's version. Steinman, who already has been seeking action on some bracelet bets for this year's series, will be looking to duplicate his many deep runs and massive success this year.

Steinman's heater began last year with two final tables early in the series, with a fifth-place performance in Event #7: $800 NLH Knockout Deepstack for $24,578, followed by a sixth-place finish two days later in Event #9: $1,000 NLH 6-Max for $30,995. Steinman's bracelet would be earned late in the series, when he took down Event #27: $400 NLH Freezeout for $110,557 after beating Japan's Satoshi Tanaka in heads-up play. Steinman used these performances to take down the $100,000 Leaderboard competition of the WSOP.com portion of the series, which sent an additional $18,000 his way.

Steinman doesn't appear to be resting on his laurels in preparing for a summer of poker, however, already getting in some prep work by winning the Benny Binion Summer Shoot-Out at the South Point Poker Room for $65,000 after a three-way deal. As much as winning his first bracelet meant to Steinman, the quest for another crusher of a summer is on for the hyper-talented Steinman.

Quad Kings Slay Negreanu's Aces

Level 7 : 200/400, 40 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Justin "Lappypoker" Lapka three-bet to 2,400 from middle position over a raise to 800. Daniel "Dnegs" Negreanu four-bet from the small blind to 5,600. With action back on Lapka he jammed all in and Negreanu snap called.

Negreanu was covered but he had the rockets with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and was coolering the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Lapka.

But the flop came with a king as it came the {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. The turn completed the king family as the {k-Spades} came off to make quads. the {6-Spades} on the river was meaningless and Negreanu was forced to buy back in.
