Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Michael "callmedrew" Mcnicholas raised to 130,000 from the cutoff, leaving himself just a bit behind, Daniel "BackDoorDan" Smith called to out himself all in.

Smith had the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and was at risk vs the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. The flop came the {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts} to put Mcnicholas ahead. The turn was the {a-Spades} and the river the {9-Spades} to end things for Smith

Lee Coolered on Money Bubble

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Daniel "BackDoorDan" Smith raised from middle position and action folded to Sang "youngkoi" Lee who three-bet to 73,225 from the big blind, leaving himself just 1,606 behind.

Smith four-bet to 130,450 and Lee called off his remaining virtual chips.

Sang "youngkoi" Lee: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Daniel "BackDoorDan" Smith: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Lee found himself in a cooler and the {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop didn't change a thing. The {10-Clubs} turn did give Lee some hope with straight and flush draws but the {7-Diamonds} river ended his tournament on the money bubble.

WSOP Legend: Doyle Brunson's Final Bracelet, 15 Years Later

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 800 ante
WSOP Legend Doyle Brunson
WSOP Legend Doyle Brunson

At the beginning of the 2005 WSOP, Doyle Brunson remained the co-king of the all-time bracelet count, tied along with Johnny Chan at nine. However, as the series drew toward its close in late June, that was no longer the case — Chan had overtaken him by winning No. 10 to stand atop the mountain alone.

Brunson was already phasing out his tournament play, having cashed precisely zero times that summer and just three times in the previous two combined, although one had resulted in a bracelet victory.

When it came time for Event #31: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, Brunson dusted off his tournament chops and made a run.

Sylvia Taken Out Near Bubble

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 800 ante
Jesse Sylvia
Jesse Sylvia

Jesse "mrjessejames" Sylvia moved all in for 65,238 from the hijack, Thomas "HavanaClub" Boivin called from the big blind.

Sylvia had the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} vs the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} of Boivin.

The board would not help Sylvia as it ran out the {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} to eliminate Sylvia as play moved to hand for hand play.
