"McEye" Leads, 86 Advance on Day 1c of Event #1: $500 NLH Keystone Kickoff

Event #1: $500 NLH Keystone Kickoff
Event #1: $500 NLH Keystone Kickoff

Event #1: $500 NLH Keystone Kickoff had its final flight today, and the 267 entrants (232 players, 35 rebuys) more than doubled the overall field from the first two flights.

Of those 267, just 86 managed to navigate the 17 levels of play to advance to Day 2, with "McEye" holding the Day 1c chip lead with a stack of 149,455, which is just barely behind the 156,090 stack of Day 1b chip leader "ratrivers".

Rounding out the top three stacks are "BigFanWow" (135,336), and "KingDeuce13" (133,121), who spent much of the day at or near the chip lead. Other notables who advanced to day 2 include Simon "SaltySleevy" Levy (37,286) and Aubrey "R1V3RM3DADDY" Williams (30,722).

Many of the notables in action were unable to avoid elimination in today's flight, including Nick "coooooo" Amicucci, Lucas "KarlHavoc" Paff, and Brett "H0mie_Sr" Freiler, who was one of the players forced to rebuy early on when his suited Broadway cards couldn't best the ace-rag of "BucksCounty".

148 players will return on Monday, August 9th at 5:30 p.m. EST for Day 2 action, with 90 of those players slated to get paid according to the WSOP.com client. Action will kick back off at Level 18 (1,000/2,000/250) and continue until a winner is crowned, who will walk away with the first WSOP Gold Bracelet awarded in the state of Pennsylvania.

Be sure to stay tuned right here to PokerNews for tomorrow's Day 2 action, as we not only will crown a WSOP Bracelet winner in this event but also in Event #2: $500 NLH PKO as well!
