Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
David Lolis
David Lolis

Harvey Mathews shoved from the button for David Lolis to call for his last 255,000 in the big blind after having paid the ante.

David Lolis: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Harvey Mathews: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

"I folded a deuce," Gabriel Andrade commented.

"Why do you do that? That's not nice!" Girish Apte said to Andrade.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for Mathews to flop top pair and avoid a split pot on the river to eliminate Lolis in sixth place.

The five remaining players have been sent for a break until 4 p.m. as PokerGO will be streaming the event from then onwards.

Andrade Scores Big Double to Leave Lolis Short

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Gabriel Andrade raised to 320,000 from under the gun and both David Lolis in the hijack and Harvey Mathews in the big blind made the call.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Mathews opted to check but Andrade continued with a bet of 800,000. Lolis shoved with the slightly bigger stack for Mathews to snap-fold while Andrade quickly called for the 2,905,000 he had behind.

Gabriel Andrade: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
David Lolis: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

"Pocket queens versus king-ten!" Andrade shouted to his rail before the cards were pulled into view for them.

He quickly got up from his seat before the dealer completed the board with the {7-Spades} on the turn and the {4-Clubs} on the river to see him double up and celebrate. The dealer and floor counted out the stacks to be sure and after all was done, Lolis was left with not much.
