Beck Nails the River to Double Up

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Jason Beck was all in for 700,000 in the hijack and was up against Huy Lam in the small blind who had him covered.

Jason Beck: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Huy Lam: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip and the flop of {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} left Lam in the lead with his pocket tens. The {6-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing but the {j-Diamonds} on the river gave Beck a pair of jacks and the double up.

Bierria Scoops Massive Pot

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Corey Bierria and Fred Goldberg went heads-up to a flop of {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Bierria led out with a bet of 140,000 into a pot of around 250,000. Goldberg counted out a raise to 425,000 on his left and Bierria just called.

The {7-Spades} landed on the turn and Bierria checked this time. Goldberg slid out a bet of 700,000 and Bierria shipped all in for 1,440,000. Goldberg quickly called but saw the bad news.

Bierria held {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for trip deuces while Goldberg was drawing to just two outs with {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The river was the {a-Diamonds} to give Bierria a full house and a full double up through Goldberg.

Daniel Weinman Eliminated in 15th Place ($8,830)

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Huy Lam raised to 100,000 and Daniel Weinman shoved his stack of 480,000 into the middle on the button. The blinds quickly got out of the way and Lam went into the tank. After about 15 seconds Lam threw in a chip to call.

Daniel Weinman: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Huy Lam: {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Weinman was slightly behind with the king-high but he quickly became a massive underdog as the flop came {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}. The {5-Hearts} on the turn meant Weinman was drawing dead and the {q-Spades} river was just a formality. Weinman took home $8,830 for his 15th place finish.

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Elio Fox
Elio Fox

Elio Fox was down to just eight big blinds and pushed all in for 395,000 in the cutoff. Krista Farrell called from the small blind only to have Koveh Waysei re-shove all in from the big blind. Farrell had about 500,000 more chips in front of her and called it off.

Elio Fox: {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Krista Farrell: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Koveh Waysei: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Waysei was in a great position with Fox and Farrell holding each other's outs. The board ran out {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Waysei held on for the double knockout.

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Joao Valli
Joao Valli

All of the chips went in the middle before the flop and Joao Barroso Valli was at risk against Dejuante Alexander.

Joao Barroso Valli: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Dejuante Alexander: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Both players flopped a set on the {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, and Barroso Valli couldn't find the case nine as the board completed with the {6-Diamonds} on the turn and the {5-Spades} on the river. Barroso Valli was eliminated in 20th Place for $7,275.

Bradley Rhodes Eliminted in 20th Place ($7,275)

Level 13 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Four players saw a flop of {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} hit the felt and Fred Goldberg started with a check from the small blind. Bradley Rhodes was in the big blind with just shy of 200,000 chips remaining and pushed all in. The action folded back to Goldberg who went into the tank for a minute before making the call.

Bradley Rhodes: {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Fred Goldberg: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}

Goldberg was in a great position with Rhodes only drawing to the bottom end of the straight. The {7-Clubs} on the turn and the {9-Diamonds} on the river would not improve Rhodes who was eliminated in 20th place.
