Linde Check-Raises Abrams

Level 34

Limit Omaha 8 or Better

With betting limits at 250,000 and 500,000, each pot has been getting truly massive.

The flop fell{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Linde checked to Abrams. Abrams continued with a bet, but Linde replied with a check-raise that Abrams called.

Linde then led out on the turn {9-Clubs}, and Abrams folded.

Big O

David Matsumoto raised to 300,000 from the cutoff and Dylan Linde called from the big blind.

The flop was {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Spades} and Linde checked. Matsumoto bet 400,000 and Linde called.

The turn was {4-Hearts}. Linde checked and Matsumoto bet the pot. Linde shoved all in and Matsumoto called. Matsumoto was at risk for a grand total of just over 3 million. The river was {7-Spades}.

Linde turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Matsumoto showed {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-}{3-}{2-} but Linde's tens full of fours were good enough to eliminate Matsumoto from the tournament in fourth place.

Level 33
Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

Limit Omaha 8 or Better

The most accomplished player at the table, Dylan Linde is approaching Hernan Salazar's chip lead after taking a big pot from him.

Salazar limped his small blind, then called a raise from Linde in the big blind.

On a {6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, Salazar check-called Linde's 200,000 chip bet.

On the {2-Diamonds} turn, Salazar check-called the 400,000 big-bet street wager from Linde.

Finally on the {q-Hearts} river, Salazar folded to another bet, awarding the two-million chip pot to Linde, who is now just four big bets behind Salazar for the chip lead.

Abrams Makes Huge Laydown to Preserve Tournament Life

Level 33
Scott Abrams
Scott Abrams

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

Scott Abrams could have gone broke in a recent pot to Hernan Salazar, but is still in the tournament thanks to a brilliant laydown.

Abrams defended his big blind to a raise from Salazar preflop, then checked a flop of {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Salazar bet 300,000 and Abrams called.

On the turn {a-Hearts} Abrams again checked, but this time faced a bet of 1,150,000 from Salazar.

Abrams went deep into the tank with three million left in his stack. After a couple of minutes, Abrams folded and asked Salazar for an "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" agreement. Salazar obliged and showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for a turned full house. Abrams showed the case {a-Clubs} along with {2-Diamonds} for what would have been an inferior full house.
