Low cards will be everyone's goal when Event #42: $1,500 Razz kicks off at 3 p.m. PST.

Razz is a similar game to Seven Card Stud, with one exception: the lower the cards, the better the hand. The best hand in Razz is a wheel, ace to five. Flushes and straights don't count against a player's hand.

This event has been on the WSOP schedule since 2014 when Ted Forrest defeated Phil Hellmuth heads-up. Other past champions include Max Pescatori and Rep Porter. In 2019, Kevin Gerhart prevailed over a field of 363 to win $119,054 and his first of two career WSOP bracelets. Australia's Robert Campbell made the final table on his way to earning WSOP Player of the Year honors.
