Day 1 of Event #46: $800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack (8-Handed) kicks off today at 11 a.m. to give players yet another chance at quick bracelet in this two-day Deepstack extravaganza.

Players get a deep 40,000 stack for the $800 buy-in. There is one re-entry available should players bust and wish to give it one more try. The structure features 30-minute levels. There will be 20-minute breaks every four levels and a 75-minute break after Level 12. Late registration is available all the way through the dinner break. Players should be ready to strap in for a long day of play as 22 levels will be played today before the surviving players bag their stacks.

One of the unique features of this tournament as compared to other deepstack events is the 8-handed play.

In 2019, Santiago Soriano of Barcelona, Spain came out on top as the bracelet winner as he topped a massive field of 3,759 to win the grand prize of $371,203. He defeated Amir Lehavot heads-up to deny the Israeli player his second WSOP bracelet.

PokerNews will capture all the action as the play is sure to be hot and heavy all day long.
