Lijewski Quartered

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Sandy Sanchez opened from under-the-gun and was called by Carl Lijewski on the button and Kris Kwiatkowski in the big blind.

It was checked to Sanchez on the {3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop, who bet. Lijewski then motioned a raise, which appeared to be an accident. The floor was called over, who confirmed it was a raise and action folded back to Sanchez, who made it three bets. Lijewski called.

Sanchez bet again on the {8-Clubs} turn and Lijewski called off for his last remaining chips.

Lijewski held the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Sanchez held {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}.

A {j-} completed the board and Sanchez won the high and split the low with Lijewski.

Sandy Sanchez

Carl Lijewski raised from early position preflop and got one caller in Sandy Sanchez.

The dealer spread the flop of {q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Lijewski led out. Sanchez raise and was called.

The turn brought the {6-Diamonds}. Lijewski bet out and Sanchez called.

The river was the {a-Clubs}. Lijewski continued with another bet into Sanchez who raised and was called. Sanchez turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-}{9-} for aces full and a massive scoop.

That pot catapulted Sanchez to well above the two million chip mark.

Curtis Phelps: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}
Carl Lijewski: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Mizrachi Scoops a Monster Versus Drinan and Phelps

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Robert Mizrachi
Robert Mizrachi

Connor Drinan started things off with a raise from the hijack. Curtis Phelps three bet from the button, only to be cold four-bet by Robert Mizrachi from the big blind. Both Drinan and Phelps called.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} and Mizrachi acted first with a bet into Drinan and Phelps. Each called once more.

The turn brought the {2-Clubs} and Mizrachi fired again. That got a fold from Drinan and a call from Phelps.

The river was the {k-Diamonds}. Mizrachi led out one last time. Phelps called and mucked after Mizrachi tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for two pair, aces and nines, Phelps mucked and the dealer pushed Mizrachi the scooped pot.

Michael Moed Eliminated in 9th Place ($12,693)

Travis Pearson raised from early position and Michael Moed went all in for the rest of his stack from the lojack. Robert Mizrachi cold-called from the hijack and Pearson called.

Both players checked on the {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, but Pearson bet and was called by Mizrachi on the {6-Spades} turn and {a-Hearts} river.

Pearson tabled {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a straight and a low which was good against the {6-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} of Moen. Mizrachi held the {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and took a sliver of the pot.

Yehuda Buchalter

Drinan: {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Buchalter: {a-}{k-}{10-}{q-}

Board: {j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Connor Drinan filled up on the river, treys full of aces, and Buchalter's tournament came to an end.

With that pot Connor Drinan is back over 1,500,000 chips.
