The World Series of Poker is another day closer to crowning it's Main Event champion but there is still plenty of action to come as Day 1e gets underway at 11 a.m. PT.

The first four starting flights have seen a total of 4,518 entries with 3,331 players surviving the first five levels to bag and tag for one of the two Day 2 flights.

Day 1d has had the most entries of any of the starting flights so far, with 1,939 players out of 2,550 making it to the next stage of the event.

Among the notables to run up a solid stack on the fourth Day 1 were Adedapo Ajayi (340,900), Zachary Grech (318,400), David "Bakes" Baker (247,300), Dan Shak (229,200), and David Stefanski (213,900).

The father and son duo of Peter Robinson (109,900) and GG Twitch Squad member Lukas "RobinPoker" Robinson (144,200) also managed to end the day with six-figure chip counts.

Adam Levy, Michael Ruane, Jason Somerville, Eric "BarstoolNate" Nathan, Joseph Cheong, Esther Taylor, Brandon Shack-Harris, Ryan Laplante, Julien Martini, Phil Laak, and David Williams were among the notables to fall at the first hurdle.

Two former WSOP Main Event champions were also eliminated in Day 1d. Joe McKeehen and Greg Raymer failed to make it through to Day 2 in pursuit of earning a repeat victory.

It will be hard to beat yesterday's total number of entries, but if Day 1e and Day 1f have similar numbers, the record attendance for the Main Event will be eclipsed. In 2012, the largest ever Main Event, 8,773 players entered the field which was famously won by Jamie Gold.

The final two flights are expected to see a host of players from all around the globe join the event, as today, November 8 is the date that international travel restrictions ease in the United States.
