On Tuesday, the 2022 World Series of Poker Online continued with Event #9: $600 NLH Deepstack Championship, a tournament that drew 380 players who rebought 135 times. The 515-entry field resulted in a $278,100 prize pool, and after just under eleven hours of play, it was Timothy "LosingEquity" Faro who scored the victory to capture a $50,864 top prize and his first gold bracelet.

Faro, who defeated Jeffery "Steelvikes7" Hoop in heads-up play, is a Maryland native with nearly $250,000 in live tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob. That includes a career-best $54,851 for 147th in the 2011 $10,000 WSOP Main Event and a 399th finish for $34,845 in the same tournament in 2019.

Many notables joined the field throughout the day and some fortunate enough to find a cash included Jeff "NedrudRelyt" Madsen (72nd - $1,390), Ryan "Protential" Laplante (34th - $1,473), and high roller regular and recent bracelet winner Alex "OrcinusOrca" Foxen (14th - $2,475).

It took nearly nine hours to get down to a final table and things picked up pretty quickly with the 2021 Event #61 $600 Deepstack Championship winner Cole "anniemay" Ferraro hitting the rail in eighth place. Soon after Paul "rungood27" Scaturro would bust in seventh, Alex "SunDSolar" Soares would exit in sixth and David "CountStacula" Powers would be eliminated in fifth.

Popular PokerGo commentator Jeff "mavsusc" Platt, who cashed in both WSOP bracelet events on Sunday, made another deep run and hoped to capture his first ever bracelet but was sent to the rail in fourth when he got pocket tens in against the ace-ten of Hoop and was outdrawn to become the short stack and would soon after bust with two-pair against a set. Jeremiah "freestylerr" Williams, the last bracelet winner standing, would exit in third place.

When heads-up play started Faro had a 4-1 chip lead and the battle lasted a while with Hoop doubling up a few times before Faro would finally close it out and capture WSOP gold, sending Hoop out in runner-up position.

Blinds: 60,000/120,000/12,000

Jeffery "Steelvikes7" Hoop moved all in for 2,400,000 and was called by the bigger stack of Jeff "mavsusc" Platt.

Jeffery "Steelvikes7" Hoop: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Jeff "mavsusc" Platt: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Platt was in great shape but when the board ran out {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}, it was the pair of aces on the turn that sealed the deal for Hoop and knocked Platt down to last place in chips.

Shortly after Platt would find seven-six on a board of {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}, but was up against pocket sevens, sending him to the rail in fourth place.
