Shannon Shorr Eliminated in 4th Place ($436,412)

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

Shannon Shorr raised to 625,000 in the cutoff and Jake Schindler three-bet shoved all in on the button. The blinds folded and Shorr quickly called off his stack of 5,650,000.

Shannon Shorr: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Jake Schindler: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Schindler was in a dominating position with the better of the two pocket pairs. The flop came {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} which left Schindler out front. The {k-Hearts} on the turn meant Shorr was drawing to just one out on the river. The {3-Spades} on the river was not it and Shorr was ousted in fourth place.

Schindler Secures Double Against Shorr

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

Shannon Shorr open-shoved on the button and Jake Schindler called in the small blind for his 5,050,000 chips.

Jake Schindler: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Shannon Shorr: {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop kept Schindler ahead to the {6-Clubs} turn. Needing to fade a queen, the {7-Clubs} completed the board to secure Schindler's double as he moved into the chip lead.

Schutten Halts Shorr with a Double Up

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Brek Schutten
Brek Schutten

Shannon Shorr open-shipped all in on the button with the two short stacks in the blinds. Brek Schutten called off his stack of 4,150,000 in the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Brek Schutten: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Shannon Shorr: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

Schutten had Shorr pipped by one and the flop of {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} left him in the lead. The {8-Clubs} on the turn and the {8-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Schutten scored a double up.

Schindler Makes Big Fold Against Shorr

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Shannon Shorr opened to 600,000 with {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Jake Schindler flat-called on the button with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

The dealer fanned the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and Shorr check-called for 500,000.

The {4-Clubs} landed on the turn to improve Shorr to the best hand and he checked. Schindler moved a bet of 1,800,000 over the line and Shorr thought about it before announcing "all in".

"Do you just have ace-four?" Schindler quietly asked.

Schindler used some time extensions before deciding to send his hand into the muck, and Shorr collected the pot.
