The first day of Event #13: $1,500 Limit Hold'em is set to begin at 3 p.m. local time. In the previous edition, Yuval Bronshtein took down this event after topping a field of 422 players to earn $124,274 and his second WSOP bracelet.

There are only a few limit hold'em events on the 2022 World Series of Poker schedule, with the next event being Event 23: $3,000 Limit Hold'em 6-Handed. In the previous iteration of this $1,500 Limit Hold'em in the fall of 2021, many notables took a shot at this event including former WSOP bracelet event champions Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Joseph Cheong, David "ODB" Baker, Jason Somerville, and Ryan Leng.

This is a three-day event and the plan today is to play 15 levels of 40 minutes each with a 15-minute break every three levels. Late registration will be available through the first nine levels. Levels will increase to 60 minutes each on Day 2 and Day 3.
