Benny Glaser Eliminated in 6th Place ($14,947)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Benny Glaser raised from middle position and faced a three-bet from Yufei Zhong out of the small blind. Glaser called to send the two players heads-up to the initial draw.

During the first draw Zhong took two and Glaser one. Action checked through.

On the second draw both players opted to take one card. This time Zhong bet into Glaser who pushed his last few chips into the middle. Zhong called to put Glaser at risk.

The final draw saw Zhong take one card and Glaser stand pat. Glaser turned over {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} while Zhong revealed he held {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Peeking while slowly peeling his last card, Zhong told the table he had a "fifty-fifty" chance of hitting an eight or a seven that would send Glaser packing. When he eventually turned the card over it was a {7-} and the most experienced player left in the field made his exit.
