Greenstein Getting Short
The under the gun player limped and was called by the cutoff. Barry Greenstein raised from the button, both blinds got out of the way and the under the gun and cutoff players both called to send action three-way to the initial draw.
The first draw saw the under the gun player take three, while both the cutoff and Greenstein drew two. Action checked through to the second draw.
On the second draw, the under the gun player took one to the cutoff and Greenstein's two. As he checked, the under the gun player joked that he had "gone from last to first" to which Greenstein responded by saying, "I guess you won. I've never seen anyone get outdrawn in this game". Action did, however, check to Greenstein who bet and received two calls.
All three players took one card on the final draw and this time the under the gun player bet, which was met by a quick call from the player in the cutoff and an equally quick fold from Greenstein. "I was bluffing" said the under the gun player as he flashed an ace. The cutoff joked, "Ace on the river. Didn't someone write a book about that?" as he showed down for jack-eight.
