Calvin Anderson Among Big Stacks at End of Day 2 of Event #21: $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em
At the conclusion of play, 271 remain of the 2,053 players who started Day 2. A total of 6,051 entered the tournament between the two starting flights and the remaining players will return for Day 3 of Event #21: $1,500 Monster Stack tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time at the 2022 WSOP at Bally��s and Paris Las Vegas.
The entrants generated a prize pool of $8,678,835. First place will receive a payout of $966,577, as well as a gold WSOP bracelet. The 271 remaining players will all take home a minimum cash of $5,054.

Two-time WSOP Bracelet winner Calvin Anderson bagged one of the largest stacks in the room, at 4,080,000. John Simonian also bagged a stack of around 4,000,000. Three-time bracelet winner Ryan Leng (2,615,000) and one-time bracelet winner Arash Ghaneian (1,940,000) also bagged stacks among the biggest in the room.

Day 3 will kick off at 10 a.m. local time. They are scheduled to play another 10 levels, each lasting 60 minutes, with a 15-minute break after every second level. A 60-minute dinner break will occur following Level 29, expected to be around 7:00 p.m. local time. Those remaining at the end of Day 3 will return for Day 4 the next day, also at 10 a.m. local time, at which point they will play down to a winner.
