End of the Road for Arieh

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

"It's almost a million guys," Josh Arieh joked when he jammed for the last 80,000 from an early position. He was called by Aaron Mermelstein and Joni Jouhkimainen out of the blinds, which led them to the {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop. Mermelstein bet 100,000 and that isolated successfully, which Arieh took with a smile and the words "yeah, get him out of here."

Josh Arieh: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Aaron Mermelstein: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {4-Diamonds} turn and {10-Diamonds} river were blanks and that spelled the end for Arieh. As he walked away from the table, Jouhkimainen asked "hey, can I have the ball back?" Jouhkimainen had used a golf ball as lucky charm and Arieh tossed it back from a few meters away before heading out of the Paris Ballroom.
