Edgar Leaves Wong Short
Matt Edgar opened from under the gun and Danny Wong three-bet from one seat over. Action folded back around to Edgar, who made the call to send the two players heads-up to the initial draw.
Both players took one card on the first draw and Edgar checked to Wong, who fired out a bet. Edgar responded with a raise, which Wong, with no hesitation, re-raised. With the action back on Edgar, he paused, seemingly confused by the re-raise but ultimately tossed in calling chips.
Edgar took another card on the second draw while Wong stood pat before putting out another bet, which Edgar called.
The final draw saw Edgar take one more card and Wong once again stand pat. Action checked through and Edgar tabled . Wong, shaking his head, tossed his hand into the muck as Edgar told him he had broken an eight in response to Wong's re-raise after the first draw.
