O'Neil Finds a Double
Action folded to Matt Edgar on the button, who opened. Billy O'Neil called out of the small blind as did Yuval Bronshtein in the big blind.
All three players took two cards on the initial drawn and action checked around to the second draw, where O'Neil drew one to Bronshtein and Edgar's two. O'Neil then led out, leaving himself just 2,000 behind. Bronshtein got out of the way. Edgar, on the other hand, went into the tank before ultimately saying, "I've gotta try" and tossed in calling chips.
The final draw saw O'Neil stand pat, much to Edgar's dismay, who took two. O'Neil threw in his remaining 2,000 and turned over . Edgar called and revealed he held , meaning he was technically drawing live. His effort to knockout O'Neil was in vain, however, as he peeled a to give his opponent a full double-up.
