Brandes On The Up

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Fabian Brandes
Fabian Brandes

Leonid Yanovski on the button with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} bet 160,000 and was called by Fabian Brandes in the big blind with {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}. Sean Winter quipped "Good luck all in!" to Brandes.

The flop came {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} giving Yanovski top pair and Brandes a flush draw. Yanovski bet 220,000 and was called by the Austrian.

The {k-Hearts} landed on the turn to improve Yanovski to a set which led him to continue for 500,000. Brandes made the call.

The {q-Diamonds} gave Brandes the nuts for a Broadway straight. Yanovski bet 1,500,000 and was met with an all-in by Brandes for 4,170,000.

Yanovski asked for a count and let out an audible sigh. After a couple of minutes in the tank, the Israeli let his hand go.

Winter piped in once more "You're a f***ing gangsta!" at Brandes for shoving on the river.
