Event #42: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em Takes to the Felt at 3 p.m.
It is time for one of the most anticipated events of the summer in the 2022 World Series of Poker with the start of Event #42: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em (Eight-Handed). The tournament begins at 3:00 p.m. local time and is sure to bring out all of the brightest stars in the world of No-Limit Hold'em.
Last year’s version of this event, drew 64 entries to make for a prizepool of $6,192,000. At the end of all the action, it was Michael Addamo who conquered yet another impressive field to win the nearly two million dollar top prize as he continued his absolute domination of the high roller NLH world. Addamo beat Kevin Rabichow heads up after Sam Soverel had been dispatched in third after holding the chip lead three-handed for a while.

The $100,000 entry cost will give each entry 600,000 in chips. Players are allowed to re-enter once for a total of two bullets. Day 1 will play twelve 40-minute levels with a 15-minute break every three levels. Registration is open all the way until the start of Day 2, so players may opt to last minute jump in at the start on Day 2 tomorrow, which will get underway at 12:00 noon local time.
