Naoya Kihara: {7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}{2-}

Kihara Secures Vital Double

Level 25 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Naoya Kihara
Naoya Kihara

Limit Hold'em

Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 600,000 and Naoya Kihara called leaving himself just 25,000 behind.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Kihara checked. Dzivielevski bet enough to put Kihara all in, and he called.

Naoya Kihara: {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Dzivielevski had flopped a pair leaving Kihara just a 10% chance of winning the hand.

The turn {3-Clubs} gave him both straight and flush draws and the {6-Clubs} completed both and he secured a vital double

Kihara Misses Draw and Loses Loads of Chips

Level 25 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Dan Cates
Dan Cates

Limit Hold'em

Dan Cates raised on the button with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Naoya Kihara three-bet the {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} in the small blind, picking up a call from Cates. They headed to the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop on which Kihara found an open-ender and bet, Cates called with the top pair and top kicker.

The {j-Clubs} followed on the turn and Kihara bet again, this time facing a raise by Cates and coming along.

Kihara then went for a check-raise on the {3-Clubs} river and was unable to get Cates off his trips to lose a big chunk of his shorter stack.

Dzivielevski Catches Cates Bluffing

Level 25 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a limped pot to the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, the action went check-check. Yuri Dzivielevski bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 225,000 with his {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a set and then faced a raise to 875,00 by Dan Cates, who only had the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

After giving it some consideration, Dzivielevski flat-called and they headed to the {k-Diamonds} on the river.

Dzivielevski checked again and Cates bet 1,950,000 for Dzivielevski to make the call by tossing in a single chip and win a bigger pot off the chip leader.
