In the continued WSOP tradition of popular split pot game tournaments, today begins Event #58: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Eight Or Better at Bally's and Paris in Las Vegas. Last year’s field saw a total of 725 entrants come out for this tournament and with the tournament numbers up in all mixed game events this year, it stands to reason that this event will see some growth as well.

Kevin Gerhart won this event last year for $186,789 and his second bracelet of that series. He topped a star-studded final table that included Dustin Dirksen, Michael Trivett, and Dylan Wilkerson. All of them are likely to enter this year’s version as well. Others expected to enter and look for another bracelet include defending player of the yearJosh Arieh, Eli Elezra, and Ben Diebold.
