Aldridge Triples, Elezra Nearly Doubles Through Rheem

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ken Aldridge
Ken Aldridge

In the biggest pot of the day, Chino Rheem raised to 310,000 on the button and Ken Aldridge moved all in from the small blind. Eli Elezra then raised the pot to 1,720,000 from the big blind and Rheem called.

Elezra moved all in on the {6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop and Rheem quickly called.

Ken Aldridge: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Eli Elezra: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Chino Rheem: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

"I don't think you're getting out of this one, coach," Damjan Radanov told Aldridge.

Miraculously, the turn brought the {k-Hearts} to improve Aldridge to a set and the {9-Diamonds} on the river didn't change things for Aldridge to win the main pot and for a massive side pot to go to Elezra with the aces.

"I won the side pot!" Elezra cheered.

"You've got to be the luckiest guy to hit that king!" Radanov told Aldridge.

"I'm f***ing good!" Aldridge roared with a laugh.

The hand gave Elezra a big chip lead and left the table in shock after seeing the two big stacks collide.

"Nice hand, Eli," Rheem said quietly.

Cowen Triples Up, Aldridge Fails to Ladder

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Robert Cowen
Robert Cowen

Ken Aldridge opened the action to 300,000 from the hijack and Eli Elezra raised to 600,000 from the cutoff.

Robert Cowen claimed to have a "shit hand" but had to go for it and called from the button with just 25,000 behind.

Aldridge, seemingly content on hoping for a ladder, folded despite having just 310,000 behind.

Both Elezra and Cowen pitched in the last 25,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop.

Robert Cowen: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Eli Elezra: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}

Cowen had flopped the straight and had a redraw to the flush while Elezra was nearly dead.

The {9-Diamonds} on the turn had Cowen win the pot, while the {8-Clubs} completed the board.

Rheem Folds Aces

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

Eli Elezra and Chino Rheem have been involved in a series of hands despite being the two biggest stacks.

"They're waiting for us to bust each other!" Elezra joked.

In the latest encounter, Elezra limped in and called when Rheem raised to 350,000 from the big blind.

Rheem checked on the flop of {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Elezra bet the pot. Rheem quickly folded {a-}{a-}{10-}{x-} face-up.

After the hand, Elezra claimed that he had {a-}{q-}{j-}{j-}.

Elezra Has Dinner on His Mind

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

In the final hand before dinner break, Eli Elezra was out of position against Robert Cowen on a board of {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Elezra checked on the flop and Cowen bet. Elezra check-raised to 595,000 and Cowen went into the tank as the level winded down.

"Here's the good news: it's going to be all in no matter what," Elezra said before putting out a stack of blue chips to put Cowen all in on the turn, should he call.

Cowen continued to tank and Elezra joked that he was going to leave for dinner.

"I'm going to dinner. Chino, don't let them kill my hand!" he said as he stood up.

Cowen folded and Elezra let him peek at his cards. Cowen let out a howl to indicate that he was happy with the fold he made.

Family Pot Results in Three-Way All In, Cowen Wins Half, Aldridge and Rheem Quartered

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Robert Cowen
Robert Cowen

Robert Cowen opened to 160,000 from under the gun and all five opponents called.

On the {6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop, Cowen opened for 480,000 and Chino Rheem called from the button. Ken Aldridge shoved for his final 680,000 and both players called.

Cowen had roughly 200,000 behind and it went in on the {4-Hearts} turn with Rheem calling.

Ken Aldridge: {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Robert Cowen: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Chino Rheem: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}

Cowen was leading the high with top two pair and the ace-high flush draw while both Aldridge and Rheem had nut lows. Cowen could scoop with the case deuce.

However, the {9-Hearts} came on the river, giving Cowen half the pot for the ace-high flush. Both Aldridge and Rheem were quartered and suffered minimal losses due to all the dead money.
