Ketzer Hits a Six

Level 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A player in early position, Felipe Ketzer on the button and JC Tran out of the small blind were all in preflop, with Ketzer having the shortest stack.

Felipe Ketzer: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Early Position Player: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
JC Tran: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Tran and the early position player were locked in what was essentially a coinflip while Ketzer would need significant help to survive. The {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop kept the early position player in front but Tran nailed the {a-Hearts} turn to take a commanding lead and set himself up for the double knockout. It was not to be, however, as Ketzer found the miracle {6-Spades} on the river, sending him jumping up and down in excitement. Tran, meanwhile, was forced to settle for the sidepot and the early position player's bounty.
