The 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas is set to kick off Event #68: $1,000 Million Dollar Bounty No-Limit Hold'em today, as the second of four starting flights gets underway. Those who survive to bag chips at the end of the night will return to play on Tuesday, July 5th for Day 2, where all four starting flights will be combined.

On Day 1a, Vincent Meli from the United Kingdom bagged the most chips with 2,705,000 for 68 big blinds heading into Day 2, when the bounty pool starts. Also with a big stack from 1a was Spain's Leo Margets, who bagged a stack of 1,275,000 as she looks to earn her second bracelet and potentially become an overnight millionaire.

A total of 182 players remained after 22 levels of play and those who survive Day 1b will join them for Day 2 along with the survivors from Day 1c and 1d.

The bounty pool is made out of $300 of each player's buy-in. Beginning on Day 2, when a player scores an elimination of an opponent, they will get to draw a random bounty prize, with the top bounty prize guaranteed to be a whopping $1,000,000. Players will not be able to redeem their bounties until after 4 p.m. on Day 2.

Cards are scheduled to be in the air at noon local time for this second starting flight. They will play 22 levels, each lasting for 30 minutes. A 20-minute break is scheduled for after every fourth level, with a 75-minute dinner break after Level 12, expected to be around 6:40 p.m. local time.

Players will start the day with a starting stack of 40,000 chips and may reenter once per flight. Late registration will close at the end of the dinner break, expected to be around 7:55 p.m.
