Kellett Makes the Straight

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Richard Kellett raised under the gun to 250,000 and picked up a call from Aden Salazar next to him.

The flop gave {6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Kellett continued for 350,000 which Salazar called. The same action happened on the {7-Clubs} turn, this time for 1,000,000.

A {q-Diamonds} came on the river and this time they both checked. Kellett showed {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for the straight and Salazar sent {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} into the muck.

Lam's River Bet Takes it Down

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Richard Kellett opened from the hijack for 250,000. Vincent Lam, on the button, and Noah Bronstein, the big blind, both called.

The trio checked on the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop before Kellett fired for 600,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn. Lam made the call while Bronstein got out of the way. On the {q-Spades} river, Kellett checked over to Lam, who thought for a bit, counting out chips, before putting in a bet of 775,000. Kellett tanked for a minute or so, before making the laydown and giving the pot to Lam.

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Vincent Lam raised to 250,000 under the gun and only got called by Aden Salazar in the big blind.

Both checked on the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop and a {3-Hearts} showed up on the turn. Salazar led out for 185,000 and Lam quickly called.

The {a-Spades} completed the board on the river and Salazar sent 460,000 this time. Lam took a minute and potted and Salazar quickly released his cards into the muck.

William Leffingwell Eliminated in 8th Place ($30,129)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
William Leffingwell
William Leffingwell

Pot-Limit Omaha

Richard Kellett opened from early position to 250,000. William Leffingwell, in late position, and Aden Salazar, in the hijack, both called.

On the {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, Kellett checked to Leffingwell who bet the pot. Salazar got out of the way before Kellett moved all in and Leffingwell snap called as the player at risk.

William Leffingwell: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Richard Kellett: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Kellett was ahead with his aces, the {3-Spades} turn was of no help to Leffingwell. The {6-Hearts} on the river gave Kellet the nut flush, and Leffingwell was sent to the rail in 8th place, while Kellett's hot streak continues as his stack now trails only Salazar.

Kellett Gets Another Double Up

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

In the cutoff, Richard Kellett jammed for 1,925,000 and Aden Salazar decided to call in the small blind for the following showdown:

Richard Kellett: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Aden Salazar: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

It was a typical flip situation and the board gave {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to bring a pair of aces to Kellett on the flop and the double up.

Salazar Takes One from Leffingwell

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

In a blind versus blind situation, William Leffingwell completed and Aden Salazar raised it to 420,000. Leffingwell quickly made the call.

The dealer brought a flop {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Leffingwell checked to Salazar who made a small bet worth 175,000. It was enough to grab the pot without more resistance.

Daniel Chuprun Eliminated in 9th Place ($23,505)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Daniel Chuprun
Daniel Chuprun

No-Limit Hold'em

Aden Salazar opened from early position for 260,000. Action folded around to Daniel Chuprun in the big blind. He thought for a minute or so, before moving all in for around 1,000,000. Salazar made the snap call and the cards were on their backs.

Daniel Chuprun: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Aden Salazar: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Chuprun was behind, but had plenty of hope with two over cards. The {2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop was of no help, and neither were the {9-Hearts} turn or {q-Hearts} river, which cemented the pot for Salazar. Chuprun was sent to the rail, the first elimination of this final table.
