He defeated Ren Lin heads-up for all the marbles on a final table which also included Daniel Negreanu, Jason Koon, Stephen Chidwick, Ali Imsirovic, Carlos Chadha, Joao Vieira, and Ryan Leng.

Players will get 300,0000 chips in their stack when they enter and play twelve levels today if they jump in from the start. The level duration is 40 minutes each with a 15-minute break after every three levels with no dinner break today.

One reentry is possible for each player with late registration and reentry possible until the start of Day 2 at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 15. On Day 2, the field will play down to five remaining players who will then battle it out on Day 3, Saturday, July 16.
