Justus Prevails as Aces Held

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up after Justus Held had already moved all in from the big blind for 9,100. The cutoff had already put in the call, and action was on the button. After a few moments, the button moved all in as well for not too much more than Held had jammed, telling the German that they can get eliminated together. The cutoff made the snap call with both of them covered.

Justus Held: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Button: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Cutoff: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

"How do you have aces there?" one player asked following the reveal, with several others also in disbelief. Nevertheless, Held was now in great position to triple up. He was able to coast through the {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} runout without either of his opponents improving, securing himself the triple up. The button was sent to the rail, as his remaining chips after paying off Held went the way of the cutoff through the side pot.

Much of the table was still in shock that Held had woken up to aces in the big blind, with one player commenting, "Make sure you title this one 'Naughty German'" to PokerNews.
